Should you be able to hold the chuck on my 18v li-ion drill when the batteries are fully charged?

I am trade but before i bought these 1month go i used cheap drills the impact driver i got with the kit is amazing no probs its just after spending over �300 on drills i am a bit wary sorry about the spelling
