Possible cause of sinusitis?

I was at the beach and was in the water with lots of waves. I definitely had water in my nose because i remember some dripping out later on. When i got home later that night, I felt my throat was a tad sore and i started feeling a little sick. The next day, I had a headache, with the pain being mostly where the bridge of my nose meets the forehead, by my right eye. I was a little congested and the pain worsened when i bent forward. This continued for about 4 days. Every morning id wake up with a slight sore throat which would go away as a hydrated throughout the day (post-nasal drip?). I did also notice that when i bent over to see if any water would come out, i would soon get a slight salty taste in the back of my throat. Do you think maybe I got sinusitis from water being stuck in my sinuses?
