My computer has a virus! (redo) turns off before i can really do anything? worm.win32.netsky?

you have two options. uming you can get your hands on a working computer. go to google and serch for somthing called avast rescue live boot disk. this is an antivirus that runs from the disk from boot. this way Windows remains off and this disk will scan Windows for viruses and remove them potentially fixing the problem. if this fails to work and reinstalling Windows all together could be your only fix. but avast rescue disk is the best way to fix this. you will have to download the files and burn them to a disk. then you will have to boot from that disk. look up on Google how to boot from a cd rom if you don't know how. the function key to do so is different from one brand of computer to the next. dell is F1. and hp is esc. that's all i know all the top of My head but find out how to boot from a disk on your busted machine. run the avast rescue disk and just wait. it shoudl get the job done. this disk takes a few hours to complete so get it started and then go out and do whatever you have planned for the day and when you come home check it. if avast fails then reinstalling Windows is most likely your only fix.
