Aldi electric fireplace noise?

Our electric fireplace we bought from aldi makes this annoying banging and rattling noise and the only way to fix it is if we wedge something underneath the bottom of the heater to elevate it to one side. then after a while we have to adjust it because its then thrown a tanty at being at that angle. has anyone had this problem with their heaters and if so how did you fix it?
