In the Bible (or Qur'an), what do you think of Satan rebelling for freedom against God's dictatorship?

I don't believe in Satan but I do find the Yezidis religion interesting. They believe that the top angel "the fallen angel other religions speak of" was in fact heroic and that God granted the "fallen angel" or "the angel who defied God" the placement at God's right hand because he was filled with the knowledge of God...interesting huh...And, I will add, they predate all religions on the Earth...
