Can I hunt deer with my Benelli Vinci?

Hi guys, I bought a Benelli Vinci for waterfowl hunting and love it. Can I use slugs in it? They have not yet come out with a rifled barrel because the barrel also contains the action. Any suggestions? I guess I could use buck shot, but I have heard it isnt that great. I have been invited to go deer hunting and am not sure what to use. Thanks, guys!!
